GT Opens Season with Win

Paul Johnson is never satisfied. He knows what his offense is suppose to look like, and if doesn't look exactly what he has invisioned, then there is work left to be done.

Jacksonville State's payday for the beating didn't fully go into the Gamecocks pockets. Parole officers and extra schackles were paid out to keep Ryan Perrilloux in check. The yellow jackete defense keeping him in check was free. The LSU transfer couldn't keep the GT defense off him, as the Yellow Jackets rolled to a 41-14 win.

PJ's triple option resulted in good games from QB Josh Nesbitt and slotback Roddy Jones and fullback Jonathan Dwyer. The option wasn't exactly "clicking on all cylinders" but the fact that GT ran up nearly 500 yards of offense is an indication of what "could be" if the execution tightens up.

GT travels to Boston next weekend to face the Eagles of BC. I see the triple option being a bit more fluid, and the Yellow Jackets leaving with a win. I'm sure PJ sees it that way atleast.
