Cleaning up for Company

I find it amazing that there are companies that have deplorable websites, yet neglect the time and effort needed to make them better.

Face it, we all go to the internet to do our homework before we decide to take a trip, make a purchase, or simply want to learn more about a topic. Why is it then that many companies spend little to no time addressing the front line of defense when it comes to their brand - their website!

I often talk to people that when asked about their website they go as far as saying "I'm not sure we HAVE a website". This baffles me more than anything.

Your website should accurately and professionaly position you online as a leader in your industry. A "good-looking" website means you care about how you present yourself to prosepective customers. It also means you understand the importance of being professional.

Most people think their website as a necessary evil because "everyone has one". If that is your way of thinking, then I can tell you your competitors are doing a better job than you. I don't have to know anything about your business, customers, or industry, but I can tell you your competitors "get it" and you don't. Having a good looking website is no longer enough however.
